Pope Francis encourages Priests to find Joy in their Priestly Vocation

Pope Francis has encouraged Catholic Priests to find Joy in their priestly vocation because it is a great gift from God who anointed them with the oil of gladness. The Pope made the remarks on Thursday morning in his homily at St. Peter's Basilica during the celebration of Holy Mass in which he blessed the oils that will be used this year in the administration of the sacraments of Confirmation, Holy Orders and the Anointing of the Sick. The mass was attended by hundreds of priests.

The holy Father named Rev Fr. Bruno Ateba Edo on Saturday to be in charge of the diocese of Maroua-Mokolo.
