Pope Benedict XVI encourages access to safe water for all

Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday encouraged the international community to promote a continued commitment to make safe water resources available to all. He made the appeal before praying the Angelus during which he reflected on this season of Lent.
The pope’s remarks follow last week's World Water Forum in Marseilles, France and in view of this Thursday's (March, 23) World Water Day.
