Fr Lombardi on Friday's Mass and youth meeting in Korea


(Vatican Radio) At the conclusion of Pope Francis’ second day in Korea, the head of the Holy See press office, Fr Federico Lombardi gave a briefing to journalists describing in detail in the two main events on the papal programme. Firstly, a Mass at the World Cup Stadium in Daejeon, south of the capital Seoul, during which the Pope met with survivors and members of families bereaved during the Sewol ferry disaster in April in which some 300 people lost their lives. Secondly, a meeting with several thousand young people from across the continent taking part in the 6th Asian Youth Day.
