In Spain: Madrid, Valencia get new Archbishops

(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis on Thursday appointed a new Archbishop for Madrid in Spain.  Archbishop Carlos Osoro Sierra of Valencia will replace Cardinal Antonio María Rouco Varela, who retired after reaching the age limit (C.401 § 1 CIC).  Cardinal Antonio Cañizares Llovera, until now Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, will become the new Archbishop of Valencia.
