Ebola: US praises efforts African nations battling disease


(Vatican Radio) The fight to thwart the Ebola virus in stricken nations in West Africa continues. The United States’ Ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, told reports during a visit to the region that Liberia and Sierra Leone particularly have made great strides in implementing policies and educating citizens regarding best practices to ensure the disease does not spread. Power also said that said international aid is helping to combat the disease, and urged donors to continue their assistance.
