'Vatican Weekend' May 2, 2015


(Vatican  Radio) 'Vatican Weekend' for May 2, 2015 features a report on the weekly general audience of Pope Francis with pilgrims from across the world, shines the spotlight on Pope Francis, the Feast of Saint Joseph the  worker and International Labour Day. This is followed by an interview focusing on the dire situation in Nepal with the Secretary General of Caritas Internationalis, Michel Roy. In the second part of this half hour programme Veronica Scarisbrick takes you on a visit to a Roman Chapel linked to Catherine of Siena with Professor of Fine Arts Breda Ennis and on a totally different note speaks to popular 'Latin Lover' Carmelite Father Reginald Foster about the ancient Romans and their Gods.
