Entrusting the deceased to the merciful love of the Almighty, His Holiness offers the assurance of his prayers for the community and his encouragement to the civil authorities and emergency personnel in the aftermath of this tragic attack.”

Last  Tuesday, 50 people were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up in the Mosque. The blast happened during early morning prayers at the Madina Mosque in the Unguwar Shuwa area of Mubi, some 200 kilometres from the Adamawa state capital, Yola. It was described as the worst attack in Adamawa since December 2016, when two female suicide bombers killed 45 people at a crowded market in the town of Madagali.
