Pope sends telegram of gratitude to Myanmar after Apostolic Visit


(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis sent a telegramme of gratitude to the people of Myanmar as he departed Yangon's airport at the end of his Apostolic Journey to the country.

Thanking President Htin Kyaw and all people of Myanmar for the "warm and generous welcome", Pope Francis blessed them and offered his "fervent prayers for harmony and peace in the nation."
