The Holy Father on Saturday raised the Holy See’s diplomatic relations with Myanmar to the rank of Apostolic Nunciature, appointing  Archbishop Paul Tschang In-Nam, until now the Apostolic delegate to Myanmar,  as the first Apostolic Nuncio  to the same country.
