Blessed John Paul II : an Easter message

(Vatican Radio) In the course of his over a quarter of a century pontificate Blessed John Paul II, to be canonised by Pope Francis on Sunday April 27, spoke many times about the central mystery of salvation.

Being a good linguist he often did so in English especially for the benefit of English speaking pilgrims during his Wednesday general audiences in Saint Peter's Square. A weekly appointment he dearly loved , during which he shared with those present a catechesis.

On one occasion , it was April 1993 and Eastertide, he spoke of the Resurrection of Christ and of that message of the Angel to the holy women...
